Venting into a Poem

Venting into a Poem

A Poem by Melinda
"

just needed to vent

"

I breathe in,

and I take a step forward.

noses barely touching

your breath teases my lips.

i get over it

keep looking ahead

i look up.

our eyes meet

for the first time

tonight

i see who you are

a liar

this isnt monopoly

you cant move your piece forward

or take it back a few spaces

just gotta keep going
