When Words Meet Heartbeats

When Words Meet Heartbeats

A Poem by Melinda
"

(from a guys P.O.V.) Play the song, and it will go with the poem, because i used this song to get inspiration for this lol

"

You are somewhere

Somewhere, over there

1,000 miles away

I will see you someday

No, I dont know who you are

This feeling is so bizarre

But i trust my heart

I Love You, theres a start

How we'll meet, i dont know

But until, My love will grow

I can picture your angelic face

Where are you, in such a place

You could be next door

or on the ocean floor

But I'll take you for you

Whether your black, white, or blue

I just know its worth the wait

When we meet, it will be great

We'll grow old together

Be in love forever

But I will wait here

For however long, my dear

However long, it'll be worth it

And all I can do is sit

This is really good. Very hopeful and dedicated. I loved your word choice in this one. It flowed really well. Nice job. :)

Amazing job Melinda. The song fits it nicely and the abstract lines in the poem really made it worth the read. What I mean by abstract is one of a kind. Here are some examples.
"You could be next door
or on the ocean floor
But I'll take you for you
Whether your black, white, or blue"

That stanza is defiantly one of a kind. The whole poem is one of a kind indeed but that stanza stood out to me for some reason. So in a nutshell, this is an amazing piece by an amazing writer.
