A Poem by Melinda

She silently weeps in to her pillow

What happens behind these four walls

No one will know.

Bottles shatter, outside the door.

She hears her heartbroken mother

Fall to the floor.

Her doorknob turns...

and she lets out a sigh.

Her father steps in

She's scared, she cant lie.

His voice, the sound of the Devil himself

He pulls her up by her hair

throws her limber body against a shelf.

So powerful. Sad and slightly scary. You can really feel the emotion in this piece. Intense. Great read.
