Try

Try

A Poem by Mel Lisa
"

Try, is present is constant is persistent, never giving up on our selves and the ones we love. Dont ever say you tried.

"

Why do tears dry?

Why slumber in solitude?

Tell tales hard as pavements

where my feet bled blue.

I bet this made sense to you.

You get me,

you got me.

You try

You are my open window to climb through.

The cold, the heavy rain caught

a stray.

Take me back to you,

returning then reverting.

Always changing, recycling

dying and converting

I lay,

I rest

I try

But just maybe...

life is no intruder, don’t pull death's trigger.

Repeat the sun rise and if it dawns...

let me linger.

Repair us with your smile

and before we wave good bye...

we know

we try

A beautiful, bittersweet echo of the soul... and yes... what a wonder to find someone who deeply tries to understand you... to get you... the real you that so often hides from casual eyes... Love the falling sense of the words.
