Label Me

Label Me

A Poem by Mel Lisa
"

Poem about experiencing true love that conquers fears.

"

On a quest for something non-existent.

But nonexistence only translates time into opportunity…

creating endless possibilities.

I was a single entity simply desiring to become whole.

 Through trials and errors...

I used the tools of experience handed down by time.

"It is rightfully mine" says my living beating heart

living in limited moments, course always changing, constantly adapting.

Hearing again and again “nothing is set in stone”.

I chose love, pure without conditions without dismissal.

It became my identity...and I became whole.

Now and then fears and hopes collided,

labeling me fearful and love fearless.

“label me love…love label me!

Through the joy and the pain...love  label me!

Through the despairs and disappointments…label me love!”

I had to read this twice. Yesterday and now today; beautiful.
I personally get an idealistic ellectric impulse of a man
becoming healed of his wounds and setting foot, after finding the possibility to,
either through god, or a superior way of wisdom-thinking in the world that
has its way of even making his life as easy, powerful and effective as death, into immortalaity
on the inside where it really matters. Where love finally
finds its home in the purest body amongst the rest. Having the
automatic symptoms of love, fear and hope; but in the purest degree.
As God says, "Fear the Lord. For the fear of God is clean.
This person is right even in the eyes of men as he is in the
eyes of God. This man shall prosper and inherit the kingdom of God."
A warriors quest reflection if tilt in the angle of the the many forms of war. Beautiful.

I love how beautiful and powerful this is. The font definitely helps, it's very urging and loud, the italics pleading even. I like that. Very clever usage. I must say, though, that I feel less like love labels you and more-so that it enhances your being. Love is eternal and unconditional, but I suppose this could also be read in an implication of desiring to be heard, as well. Desired to become whole through finding real love, through holding real love, the frustrations of searching and giving up and hoping again but never being able to stop looking. Because humans are social, needy creatures. . . and truly, there is nothing wrong with that.
