Games

Games

A Poem by Melanie Marie

Games we play
one with another
like two heads on the body of one snake
slithering around in the fiery fields of guilt, shame, and anger.
Games we play
like the bodies of two sinners becoming one in the heat of a moment
only with the intentions of sin.

We all play games. In every encounter with other people we are doing so. The nature of these games depends both on the situation and on who we meet. Like the word format - gives anticipation and urgency to the write! Short but evocative - :-)
