Reflections

A Poem by melanie j bean

Reflections

With the elements was where I felt most at ease.

My afinity for stories went with me like kindred

spirits in summer's wake.

Needing to explore where my reverie would seek,

I'd find a spot under the canopy of a friendly tree,

or claim the top of a sunny knoll where,

I would look down on the glassy top of a stilled lake,

and no matter what the angle I could see the Reflections

of what I could be.

Lovely. I see myself in your reflections.

About
I love to write, words just come to me and I have to write them down. I'm driving down the road and bam! in come un-stoppable thought, even in my dreams come such lines moving me to wake and pen them .. more..
