leaving you running ahead of body and mind,

searching for elusive answers in the knotty-pine,

and the edge you're on is sure to end in time...

don't let go, don't be afraid, just look up!

 

When the ride you're on takes a wild turn,

thrusting you forth to crash and burn,

leaving tell-tale marks of an ego not firm,

and you feel so small with so much to learn...

don't lose hope, don't forget our savior, just look up!

 

When words fail us in our attempt to understand,

when our sight has dimmed it's vision grand,

and we feel we lost all integrity to stand,

our voice echo's on an empty stage with no band,

don't stop singing, and start dancing...

with repenting eyes just look up!
