A Dear Friend - A Poem for Shahyar (shy-arr)

This is a poem about the nicest guy EVERRRRRRR. It's not as long as I'd hoped, but I'm tired and I'm lazy... not a good combination when you're writing a poem about the best of guys in the world.

This is a story about a boy

He is as intimidating as a bull

But soft and cuddly like wool

Bring me lots and lots of joy

 

You wouldn't want to pick a fight with him

His muscles are bigger than my head

Whereas mine are barely larger than thread

So fighting him would be very grim

 

My favorite thing to do is give him hugs

It's like hugging a suit of armor

What can I say, he's a charmer

And I love looking at his mug

 

He has a warm friendly smile

And a very pleasant guy

Despite he makes you feel as big as a fly

But you still love him all the while

 

So he's as strong as a car

He's the best friend you can as for

And he's a good man down to his very core
