nothing

nothing

A Poem by melancholy
"

poetry

"

my thoughts are not sound enough to hear-

i am invisible dear-

nothing seems to matter-

i am lost here-

words unclear with bitter frost-

it must be winter-

my face is distantly blurred-

bitterness has its cost-

a sullen soul in heavy darkness-

candlelit fog guides me closer into the night-

moving softly steady through my life-

a callous mind can have its way-

another day, just another day away

all i knew crumbled between my fingers-

everything is lost

i am here to linger

First off I'd like to welcome you to WritersCafe and I'd like to read some more of your work :)

I can't see anything really wrong with this poem, it held my attention from beginning to end and I like how you decided to use equal signs instead of skipping lines, that was very creative :)

The only things I would fix are a couple nit-picky typos
-words unclear with bitter frost=it must be winter
-a sullen soul in heavy darkness=candlelit fog guides me closer into the night

Good job :) Keep on writing
