Our mediocre lives

Our mediocre lives

A Poem by melOH!knee
"

This is about the mediocracy of our lived. How we make such a fuss about problems that we have no right complaining about, really. These days fade, and all that remains is ourselves.

"

day after day

our mediocre lives

excitement wears out

time settles like dust

your heart breaks and heals

each day,

unimportant.

mundane cycle

spins everything around

I became dizzy

and collapsed on the ground

both victory and defeat

that I was the first one out.

I love it. It was clever and all too true. A cycle of Work, Buy, Consume, Die.
