On life and love, faith and distance. I understand this poem in many ways. The fear of the known and the unknown. Being in love with someone from a different place, timezone, country and placing their faith in the Lord to realise a happy ending.
I place my faith not in the Lord, but in the strength of my heart, my love, and my belief in my better half. It is good to have faith in the Lord, if you believe in Him, yet ultimately your love will live or die on the faith and love in your hearts.
An interesting poem, Meitha. Hopeful in spirit and tone.

I am glad knowing how you found the understanding of this poem.
Yes, it's about the known and the unknown things.
It's about having a wish, hope or dream - the untangible relationship with God, my creator and being aware of the real life, that my flesh feeling - in having human relationship.
Well, I realize that I can't count on only to myself for all things. I realize I have limitation and weakness beside capability and strenght. So, that's why I accept something or someone higher and limitless than me, which is God, my Lord to lean on, for everything, indeed.
Well, then...I believe there's not die things in Him, even when the a love has broken my heart.
I might be broken or in pieces...but He will fix me in somehow to be more than just good.
I put my trust on Him, alone.
Thank you for spending your time on here with such an honest and wonderful review!

Very interesting & original perspective on love, tying it to location as you've done. I'm not a fan of much repetition in a poem, but for this style of writing, you've done it well. It seems there's a bit of contrast between the messages in each of your stanzas, first saying you hate being away from home town, then coming to the idea that love is the best, no matter where it takes you. I also like the way you give credit to our Lord, when it comes to things of the heart.

I think, this kind of poem - with repetition - could be done for a situation that gives us big pressure and big expectation at the same time plus revelation of our character as human being. Honestly, I have no idea if someday I could make this kinda poem again...lol.
Thank you so much for viewing things in that comprehensive way that you've done.
