lips that almost ask why

wet cheeks

steady hand

almost a realistic picture

a tear falls on paper

it all breaks inside

why

in the hand of the girl looking back

lies the pieces of a broken heart

she tries to put back together

pain looks back

why

letting go of feelings inside

this is what looks back

a perfect mirror

revealing what's inside

If only, it were so easy. A beautiful thought though it is. I personally, can't draw very well, and I'd be obsessed with getting it write for a longtime, a dam broken flooding day in day out until the landscape was full overflowing with my pain. Unfortunately, as cathartic as it might be for you, every time I were to look upon my painting I would breath in the flames once more in nostalgia. Again, you have written something very thought provoking though. Good job.
