everyone tells me your in a better place

then why does it hurt so bad

emptiness fills me when I get home

your not here anymore

 

sometimes I forget

and I can't wait to see you

then I call your name and remember

your gone

 

you weren't a human

and everyone thinks I'm childish for crying

but you were more than my best friend

more than family

 

I wish everyday that I can have you back

even if it was just for one day

I love you
