This is a rare gift...a friend who knows you better than you know yourself. Relationships, whatever they may be, can be tedious at times, and sometimes we have to step back and take stock of the things that really matter. A few little stumbling points in the phrasing...second stanza is a little difficult on the ears and the last stanza may be a little more powerful if the wording was different. Overall, though, I enjoyed the sentiment of this one.
