Understanding Responsibility

Just something that randomly came to me...

In another's eyes is the pain no one else can possibly understand; no one else tries to comprehend it, though they know it's there. Such a simple cry for help is often ignored. No one wants the responsibility of failure, the risk involved if they try to help. It would be so simple if they understood the necessity of one's own silence; if they just say nothing, and just listen. It could save someone's life, if only others understood their duty.
