When everything falls

The loneliness washes over me

Like the tears falling from the clouds

But nothing can wash away the truth

The truth that was hidden

While I was loving you

You weren't loving me

Or caring

You were using me

To get what you missed

Now you are gone

I get nothing but silence

That's the part that hurts the most

I don't regret the time

We had together

I do regret falling for you

I keep going back to the memories

Wondering if maybe I did something wrong

The only thing I found was

That I fell for a friend

And now nothing is the same

As those few that I do talk to

Keep going on with their lives
