Feeling

Feeling

A Poem by Hot-N-Cold_17
"

I had a friend that I was really close to and he died this is for him. I love you

"

Here in the grass I feel the blades grazing my bare legs

the silk of my dress feels like heaven while the golden sun

warms my milky skin. Feeling

You lay beside me and your breath warms my neck

sending chills of ecstacy running down my body. Feeling

the wind sweeps through the meadow carrying the scent of flowers

calming my racing heart. Feeling

Laying in my room the silence deafens me no one to soothe my pain

how to make it stop. I close my eyes and think of that meadow

with you and my feelings.

Then I cry myself to sleep because of feelings why did you have to die

A very passionate write. Nice flow. I'm sure you're friend wherever he is in heaven felt the same way.

I really like the way the poem begins. Love the imagery. The last verses are good as well, it could just do with some commas or clearer line breaks. There are a couple of run-ons there. But really a very good poem.

Sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry. It's hard to understand pain like that but you explained it really well. It was really deep. good job
