true bliss

true bliss

A Poem by Angelove

The sweet air around me, holds me tight and leaves me warm.
My stomach says yes, but my body says no,
Whatever shall I do.
He loves me, he loves me not...

I beautiful little thought process, almost prose like. Well done, it was very relatable.

Your writing style brings it all together very nicely.

Will definitely read it again.

Not bad, it's an eloquent poem for as short as it is. In my opinion, however, it's a bit generic in its bareness. I think a bit more could definitely be added to this. You've got a good start.

This really sets me thinking. Why "stomach" says yes? I somehow think of the heart as "other than the body", but the stomach as part of. Unless you are speaking, metaphorically, of a visceral experiencing?

The one line explanation is a great punch line.

I like this. A true-hearted, relatable moment in time captured to perfection.
Possibly, the beginning of a lasting memory of the first time...

Thanks for the (100/100) share
