Curiosity Killed the Cutie

Curiosity Killed the Cutie

A Poem by Megan R. Toy
"

About jealousy, paranoia, and relationships

"

Okay, I went through your phone like a sleuth.
I already knew, but I asked for the truth.

It comes as no surprise
That you blatantly lied,
And I realize
That I am going to have to decide.

There is no trust,
You had your last chance.
I whined and fussed,
But I wear the pants.

If you are to the point of searching to find fault, the end is near. The heart knows what the heart knows. Better to be straight up and ask. If it brings the end, then it was going to happen anyway.

Nicely done work, but even wearing the pants does not give you the right to invade privacy.
