I Take Flight

 

Let my wings take flight.

Let them soar above ambition,

Spread across knowledge and imagination.

Let my wings be charismatic;

full of color, wonder, righteousness.

 

Let them be strong.

Let them not break under judgment

or falter under jealously.

Let the air of compassion steady my wings.

 

Let my wings be free for they hold

My dreams, my heart, and my true desirers.

 

Let my wings touch people with hope.

Let them be obscure to those don’t need it,

And be revealed to those who do.

Let them be inspirational

Loving

Angelic

Glory

 

And let me take flight, for my wings are only apart of me.

Let me be my wings

Let me exude hope, inspiration, love.

Let compassion of my family guide me towards my dream.

Let ambition be my driving force.

Let knowledge and imagination be criteria,

But who I am.

One day I will take flight.

I take flight
