Lust and Love

Lust and Love

A Poem by Megan Rose

Does love begin in the heart
or the mind?
Your eyes, your smile
they shine and create
a light
so bright into my soul that I
lose all meaning of the world
and love.
But your figure, your body
it calls to me
all the same.
every thought unspoken-
portrayed in your
body language-
speaks to my mind
but calls my heart
to answer
and Lust to draw me near you
and you to me...
but is it your heart
and soul
through which I see through your body
and crave to know you more
or the substance of you?
the touch of your skin
on mine?
is it truly love that calls me to you,
or is it
Lust?

About
I love to write. But-just a fair warning- I've never actually written more than like 3 chapters to a book... But I do know that someday I will write a bestseller. (: more..
