Electroucuted-Chapter 1

A Chapter by Galaxy Blythe
"

This is the first chapter and most of the book is probably going to be in Lerina's POV

"

The pounding on my door wouldn't stop.

"Lerina wake up! It's time to get ready for school!" Eira shouted.

"I'm up!" I yelled back. I have been ready for the past two hours. She still won't stop banging on my door.

"We have fifteen minutes left!" Eira shouted.

I walked out of the door to see Eira and Shock. Eira still had her pajamas on.

"So, your banging on my door telling me to get ready, when you haven't even taken your pajama's off." It wasn't a question but she answered anyways.

"Of course not. It's Saturday! Why would I get up at five o'clock on a Saturday?"

"Well then why would you wake me up?" I was starting to get really irritated.

"Because you have to go to that stupid open house thing. I never understood why they do open houses on Saturdays." But didn't Eira have to go to? Oh well, maybe not.

What's weird is that I actually like school. I get to be with my friends and the work is so easy. I just don't think that we should be tortured by having to wake up to early. How do they expect us to do work when we are so tired? I have to spend an extra hour every morning just so I can wake up.

When I got upstairs, I turned on the radio. My favorite Evanescence song is on.

I started singing as I ate my breakfast, "When you'd cry I'd wipe away all of your tears."

Willow had to go with me to open house, which I think is totally stupid. All you do is walk around the school. Walk and explain, walk and explain, walk and explain. Enough said. We went to a small school with only about one hundred students. There were 22 students in my class and 28 in Eira's.

Eira was always the athletic one. I was the smart one. I skipped a few grades so now I am in Eira's class. She trained me so can match her. I tutored her so she could become equal to me. It was an unspoken understandment between us. She trained me, I tought her. We are usually inseperable. Even if we are annoying each other it only lasts about five minutes. Together, we were the strongest and the most brilliant students at Brisdon Middle School.

After Willow got ready and ate breakfast we left for open house. I was in the sixth grade so it was my first year at the middle school. It actually starts in fifth grade but I skipped that year. As we got to the middle school Willow parked her Prius into a spot that was far enough away so that I could practice my power. Willow can control light so that gives her the ability to bend light to make things invisible so I can practice my powers without anybody noticing. Eira's power was ice. My power was lightning. It always came out light blue. I could only produce sparks right now, but in time, I would get better. If anybody touched me, they would get shocked. It was weird that way. You couldn't control your powers when it's already there. You can only control powers when you manifest things. Anyways, I produced a tiny spark so it hit an empty waterbottle. I missed by about a yard. I kept trying to hit the bottle but I missed every single time.

I would have to practice after open house because we had already approached the school.

Galaxy Blythe
I had writer's block so this probably isn't the best chapter.
