You're gone.

You're gone.

A Poem by Megan Danielle Kelley

We don’t notice how much worse life could be.
We look, but we don’t see.
The tragedy in the lives of others.
The fathers ,children& mothers.
Who have lost everything.
Left with nothing.
But yet we sit & cry.
About some stupid guy.
Or a dumb girl.
It’s making my head whirl.
Why are we so ignorant ?
He went through so much torment .
& we take life for granted !
My thoughts are haunted .
With memories of the boy .
Who was brushed off like a broken toy.
Left alone to die.
Now , we all cry.
But none of us were there..
We didn’t show that we cared .
That’s why he’s gone.
We’re all so wrong .
Have a nice eternal sleep.
We’ll all just sit & weep..
