Family

I found family in an unexpected place,

In a place so loving and gentle,

I found acceptance and hope,

Its now all I want

I find myself wondering "what are they doing now?"

Maybe this is why I've come here..

To find what family is,

To feel safe and to know its ok,

To fit like a puzzle piece,

Somewhere where I can find myself,

To be a part of someone else's family,

Where they always seem to have time for me,

Where they listen to me and my problems,

I feel I have been blessed  with this insight on how family should be,

I feel loved, accepted, comforted, safe, warm, and welcome.
