Her BeautyA Poem by meganelizabeth23HER Her eyes the color of wood, A child of nature, of the trees and the sky, When she paints her eyes light up, in her own world, The words of a mother roll off her lips, Born to nurture and teach, a mother to all, Her dark hair swinging as she laughs, She takes a drag as she accepts me in, Freckles dot her face as she sips her coffee, She sits there evaluating full of love as we talk, Even through hard times she's the strongest of us all, A mother to me when I was lost, and without family, People falling in love with her when she talks, Caring and compassion is what she is, My guardian angel is what she's become. © 2014 meganelizabeth23Featured Review
