all encompassing, i drown in your touch

you give me what i had not before 

the strength to overcome the age of night that encloses

i cling to your ecstasy when there is nothing

without you, i have no words

only hollow thoughts resonate

as echos in the distant walls of my mind

you flood through my veins and i feel peace

i desire this very same life without you

but the moment i bid you farewell

everything returns to the normalcy

and the silence creeps in every so softly

one day soon i must set you free

but today is not that one

until then i fall into your everlasting mercy

and drink you in, flooding my body with life
