Thunder and LightningA Poem by Drowning with StarsSometimes I watch the stars So sure of where they are And that's when I know That we shouldn't be apart But tonight the sky is filled with clouds So let the rain fall with me to the ground
Let me scream Like if God had given a voice to lightning And let me break The way the thunder does When it gets to have a say
I hate knowing that you're miles away Where you don't feel any rain But I won't be alone, even if you don't need to miss me Because this pain is always here to be my company
So let me scream Like if God gave a voice to the lightning And here I'll break The way the thunder does When it gets to have its say
Oh, let me scream I can feel the lightning And here I'll break Under the words that I can't say... © 2012 Drowning with StarsReviews

Not only to the writer, but the same poem also means something a little different to every single reader, the same way a song is different to.. more..Writing
