why must i "contribute" to "society"? why can't i just live in a forest with my wife and become friends with the woodland creatures and bake bread to give to the birds in exchange for shiny buttons and secrets? is it too much to wish for slow, warm nights reading old books by the fire while a lovely tune plays in the background? for a little faerie garden with wondrous plants that shine like stars in the dark? for a life where the only standard of beauty is to be kind?
