Fluff and soft white stuffA Poem by Meerie_EJSince all my poems are about love lol here’s one that’s not.Fluff and soft white stuff Hangs above small workings Below, the world seems it’s own engineer Scurry here, scurry there. Fluff and soft white stuff, Neither scurries nor stands. Always moving, shifting, like sands. Sands not on lands but above in skies. Sands now called fluff and soft white stuff. I find--I see, soft white stuff. Look up, do you see? Around the blue, above the green. Like fluff, soft white stuff. Glistening on my skin, Settling--rested there. Sun shines--rays between white and blue. Fluff and soft white stuff in skies will fly by cause of the rays. Now, blue above, blue below. Fluff and soft white stuff, come on rainy days, I, now beneath the skies, hold myself, Like fluff and soft white stuff, Which cover--even to rays of sun--the blue, And I shall always smile, When the fluff, like soft white stuff. Hangs above small workings, where, below, the world seems it’s own engineer. © 2018 Meerie_EJAuthor's Note
