our kampf

A Poem by Mem

i wake up. every single morning in another way and my sweat seems to be different, my second body fancy sleeping different, dreaming about something else, but hurts in the same way

you think this world ows you something
but it was first, before you and not mine
we destroyed it, reduced it, cataloged
just to feel fine
to feel bitchy and fine

greenpeace, Cold War and Blue Line
you think this world ows you something
but it was first, before you and not even mine
we destroyed it in the name of common morality
science, gun and the telephone
i don't need them anymore
i don't need them anymore

recycling, inhibitors, friends with glass
you think this world ows you something
but it was first, before you, not mine, not Hess'
destroyed it in the name of secure nothingness
trash, safety, vodka bottle - not connote
i don't need them in my throat
i don't need them in my throat
