thoughts

my baby mama likes her drama

shes kept our baby from my family

she tells people shes doing good

but at night she still cuts like its cool

lil Elijah so cute and cuddly

will soon be with a stable family

as the social workers promise i will get atleast joint custody

her family will finally see that im not what she claims me to be

and that i am the safer bet for his future you see

i dont live off the state or those i can leech from

i work hard and pay for everything

its sad this state gives women everything

even if they are known for acts of violence

thats ok though i will get through this

and our son will grow up with values

and know that mom chose to deprive him

of what my family can provide for him

and all those who watch and see

will see im the guy who fought for him

my ex is keeping my son from me but not for long i had to get this off my chest

We live in stereotyped world where, everything is biased towards the common perception.Nobody has time to explore the truth and yes, the pain you are growing through after knowing what you have been through is very well expressed through this poem.
All I can say you have faith in yourself and you can turn things around. People let go only things which they feel deep within "They don't deserve".
