We are the children of the hollow Earth,

 

In times like these…

A child’s heart must feel at ease,

But if we can’t look for tomorrow,

Another day will only become meaningless.

For our sadness replays in the darkness,

Will the seeds of hope ever sow…?

 

We are the children of the hollow Earth,

And must bear witness to our salty eyes,

 

Do you want to live as a nameless existence?

Our goal is to never runaway,

For our salty eyes must meet the next day,

And we shall soon make our appearance!

 

We are the children of the hollow Earth,

And must bear witness to our salty eyes,

But let us shape our new genesis,

 

We have all lost a piece of ‘I’,

But let our weakness run dry.

Fill it with the tears of the ‘fallen’,

So they may enflame our new sun.

Take my hand and rise up,

Because we never asked for ‘this’!

 

We are the children of the hollow Earth,

And must bear witness to our salty eyes,

But let us shape our new genesis,

For we are to reverse the tides of fate,

 

Let’s become the vindicators of ‘they’,

Will we ever find the Neverland…?

Yes, but for now we must withstand,

So we can reclaim our ‘lost’ day.

 

We are the children of the hollow Earth,

But let us shape our new genesis,

For we are to reverse the tides of fate,

We will fight, for the awakening is near!

Author's Note

The children of the hollow Earth is a fictional group whom exists in the book that I'm writing. They live in a world where the universe is altered and Earth has been destroyed by the war between men and machine. This poem is one of the famous recorded speeches of the leader of the group, named Vi. I may release more pieces of lore of my book called RE: Code. This poem is just a small fragment of my lore and is refereeing to some important events. The world that I created is pretty complicated and plays out on Earth and my fictional planet called Aeon.

This is a great read. I like it! Keep it up. The only critic I have is to 'try' and 'make' a 'flow' of words that 'sound' not just good, but 'great' together. That'll really spice it up. That's all I felt it really needed. Great job!
