/RESTART

A Poem by Nightfeather
"

This world is still affected by the curse of its past. Is it not time to let go and restart who we are?

"
/RESTART

Was there ever a fair chance to begin with?

As a human, you are trapped by your visual image, designed by the unknown.
They say that your life has already been generated, from beginning to end,
But we should have the chance to defy our fate, not made by ourselves.
For we were not born to be bound, no, we were born to be free!

It felt like I was being drowned, for I was different than the ideal human,
Stripped of my wings, because people like me weren't supposed to fly.
A part of the world shines bright, while another part must stay in the dark.
Can I ever escape from the invisible hand, which has no intent to let me reach light?

I can see the eyes of the silent ones, their presence is stripping my will to live,
For they can only see the world in two colors, in between is nonexistent for them.
Their intents are not from themselves, no, they are from those of the past,
A curse who likes to lingers in the heart of the future,
I seek for a cure, not for me, no, for the sake of the human race as a whole.

Have you ever felt like an outcast, kept away by a barrier made of painful words?
The world is not meant for someone like you, right, but why, why, why?
Is it so wrong to be different, strip away our skins and personalities, what remains?
Can you see it, do you see the brilliance that it emanates…
Or do you need to reawaken the way you view this world, in order to see it?

It seems that the way we view life, is not everything that life should be.
Take the hands of restrain away, don’t let them cloud the way you should feel.
Do you remember what I said, that we were not born to be bound?

There are some who filter these words:

Everyone is the same, so we should all deserve a chance to show who we are…

A filter, created by those who keep wandering in their own ignorance.
Do you seek to alter this filter, recreating it into something that might prove useful?

The ones who defy the equality that we all deserve, need a restart of their hearts.

Believe me, you are not the one to blame, the fault is by the ones who don’t understand.
If you ever thought that you were alone, alone in this world filled with difference...
Think again, because you are not alone, raise your arm to the stars.
Many have been injured, a scar is the reminder of the words that were used in their past.
Let your minds connect with the ones who received their scars,
Because you should not change who you are, let them restart who they are!

Well... It would be nice if people would restart themselves. But they will never do that. Cuz they're not willing, cuz they think things are great, the way they are. Well, hell no. The world is a messed up, cruel place, and most likely it's gonna stay that way...forever. The people who want to change it for the better give all their effort for basically nothing, as long as the rest keeps going against them. And thanks to all those who keep manipulating the crowds through the rotten corrupted hands of the media, they blindly follow what the leaders are stuffing in their heads.

It would be nice to restart hey but sadly I'm unable to do such. I felt inspired by this actually. Inspired to change (Isn't that a form of restarting?) Thank you very much for this amazing piece and I loved reading it!

Your very welcome
The world has been made an evil place not by those who are evil but by those who do noting to stop it.we are all responsible for the current state of this world.our inaction is what brought us here in the first place.
I know of that feeling you mentioned ,wondering why I should live for the sake of others.why I should give my life up for a world that is so cruel.but I realized that while we make mistakes ,there is grace in our failings.its what makes us human.for all our faults there is still a blessing within each one of us .if the world is to become e a better place we must learn to look into that blessing and share it with rest of the world.for then alone will we become truly human.

A wonderful work my friend .a true eye opener.
Good job : )
