WhispersA Poem by Mario VitaleWhispers in the nightWhispersangelic premonition in the back of my mind
sublime chill through the breeze in the trees the forest had an entrance door a barrage of dark patterns through the mysterious scene inside we hide behind the hidden garb of compromise can't we see through all those lies blinded by the silence of the midnight oil the love from a girl and a boy treasured a red rose that was plucked a time before stand still & you will hear a whisper in your ear envision a world filled with love and shun the hate call it fate but we need to endure calloused by the inner measure of truth turned to lies does all of this logic come as a big enough surprise © 2017 Mario Vitale |
