What I Love

What I Love

Laughter from heaven sent to the unique ability to live life.

What I Love

I love white sailboats and warm sunny places
Blue ocean waters and tanned smiling faces
Long lazy days in the hot summer heat
Bikini swim suits and sand covered feet

To feel like an eagle gliding through space
The touch of a damp wind at a motor boat race
I love quaint lighthouses and fishing at the sea
Mid cool waters splashing with driftwood debris

And I love high bridges that soar up in space
Especially drifting with the wind keeping pace
I love old poetry full of love and romances
The thrilling excitement that moonlight enhances

Old strumming guitars with perspiring traces
Of kissing and dancing from twilight embraces
The glow of the moon on tides foaming white
And the drone of a jet in the still of the night

I love travelling to far away places
But guess most of all, I love happy faces

That's a lot of good things worth loving. This world is full of so much beauty. You covered much of it in your poem.

Great poem. Thanks for sharing.
