Wounded Knee Free Spirit

An Indians Fight To Live

"

Wounded Knee Free Spirit

You have decorated the heart with your tender touch
With long lines vested in a mass formation
We have become numb to viable circumstances...
A memory was etched in my mind sublime
These are the fields in which you tread
Many things inside my head that are circling
The Indians overlooked a place in the woods
A beautiful land with rocks and streams depend
This was the land old Apache had tread
Let us pause to reflect the pathway of the ancient one
A horse and a gun very simple life with added spice
The calvary would often go to the place called home
Wounded knee free spirit was in the woods
Looking for shelter to stay the night was far spent
Along comes a tommy hawk in the distance of the land
Let us collide with the heads that will be scalped for dinner
A lone man on a journey to the twilight sun in the sky
The slight resistance of a passing eagle in the sky
We shaped dreams through our head for we are the walking dead
Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plough
A call for love in a crazy world he captured a dream
Wounded knee
