Begin The Begun

Begin The Begun

A Poem by Mario Vitale
"

Very moving piece when one comes to grip with life

"

Begin The Begun

We have laid the brick and mortar tar pitch deep
What we sew is really what we will reap
Through the many twists and turns that life bring your way
Let us humbly bow the knee to pray
One has good cause to lose their way
Shattered glass creates a cavern of a perpetual mass
Shining example of what we are to become
Through ardent meadows comes the variation through a dream
We stand alone at the foot of the cross
It's the begin of the begun in our view from a hill
A sweet kiss on the lips will evoke quite a chill
Time heals wounds but sometimes were left battered and scarred
Your chief aim in life should be to walk holy with your God
Snap shot moments of our past having so much fun that it would last
In the playing field of life it's good to relish in some added spice
Once you live there is never a chance to roll the dice twice
