Jesus Wept

Jesus Wept

A Poem by Mario Vitale
"

The many times Jesus wept throughout his earthly life. A manifestation of grace seasoned with salt.

"

Jesus Wept

Lord give us a fresh word from thine throne
Help us in our endeavors to fully discover the mystery
Thank you for the intense love from above
 Nature beckons your humble abode
Many hearts are left desolate searching in the wind
Share the message of peace to the masses
Doctor God you are ever present in our struggles
Only you hold the keys to death, hell & the grave
That day when Lazarus was dead in the tomb you wept
In the graden with your father you wept again
Give us this day our daily bread through many twists and turns
One soul soars while the other one will burn
Another page has been turned through life's tipping scale
On a bed of nails you came for me out of pure desperation
As in some caged fury you lit the torch that egnited the flame
There are many moments in which the master wept
My humble plea is for others to receive and believe the message
With a heart saturated with truth in order to withstand the test of time
Father forgive them for they know not what they do
Jesus said the prayer now the rest is up to you
