PerfectionA Poem by MeaghanI had to write something for a class in school, this is what I came up with in about ten minutes at four in the morning. Thank you insomnia?I’ve found the infection, In a divine selection, Indicated where perfection, Is relative to perception. Perceive your reflection, Jump start the recollection, And gather a collection of memory. Because perfection cannot be Identical for you and me, If we base it upon what we see. Memory is the basis of what we make And visions of the past, they cannot take. They’ll try to make us see at the same level But they’ll find imperfection is inevitable. And maybe they’ll stop the chaos and realize What I once found with my own eyes; This infection, Festering through the divine selection. Though maybe, this is just my perception. © 2011 MeaghanReviews
