Some of usA Poem by MeaghanSome of us; We just grow up a little too quick, No chance to be naïve, We just want to spread our wings and leave. Some of us; We just grow up a little too slow, Still stuck in the box, like a mime. Ready to let you know, we still have time. Some of us; We just don’t grow up at all, It’s all just a game, We climb to the top knowing we’ll fall. Some of us; We just don’t know what we are, We’re colorful and bright, but then bland as the tar. Some of us; We’re not happy or sad, We’re just in between, and that makes us glad. I; Well I am not one, I am simply all, For my life, has just begun. © 2011 MeaghanReviews
