Define Perfection

Define Perfection

A Poem by Meagan
"

A poem I wrote from all the things my husband has told me about how he feels for me

"
Perfection.  It is the way you smile at me, the way you interact with others.
Your charisma for life, though you don't see it love, is strong and true and attracts us all.
Your talents, your desires, your dreams, your ways.... captivating, that is how I would describe you.
Your smile, that impish smile, when you are thinking up some devilish scheme... your sporadic misconceptions of reality and then the truth that finally pulls you through.
Your spontaneity, your sparse purpose in life.  Your depression, your melancholy, your 'tired of being alive' attitude.
Your grace in peril, your disastrous lifestyle.  Your worrisome habits, the ups, the downs... all beautiful perfection to me.
You try to hide your emotions, like a diamond thief hides his spoils.  You try to hide your lies, like a child caught hiding that stolen cookie.
Your energy, your spark... that drive that no one could ever fathom.  It is there and then it is gone, like the morning fog upon the horizon.
People watch you, my love, like they would watch a falling star;  a good analogy for you, I would say, perfection falling from above.
You don't see it, but others do, the beauty within you radiates like the sun.  You don't see it, but others do, your beautiful agony and heart like shattered glass.
Perfection, you ask, what does it consist of?  I will tell you in three simple words;  you define perfection.
