ScarsMemories of What Was Done To Me

ScarsMemories of What Was Done To Me

A Poem by Save the Trees, Save the World
"

A girls memories of being kidnapped

"

Scars, all over my body

Memories of what was done to me

Your way of saying

“You can’t get away

Circles on my wrists

Rope and a metal headboard

Chained to your bed

No escape

Long lines on my arms

My punishment when I cried

That pocket knife

Turning my skin blood red

Your name carved into my breasts

“You’re mine”

I can’t forget you

You’re all over my body

Bite marks on my thighs

Teeth sinking in

Blood seeping out

I had to let you inside me

A hole in my head

Everything turns red

I didn’t do it right

I need to be punished

“I love you”

“I’m sorry”

“You made me”

Trigger released…black
