when your world is crashing down

when your world is crashing down

A Poem by Michael

When the world is crashing down
These notes will fold themselves
Standing at the margin's edge to see where the daybreak ends
You can find compassion here
But the page turns too fast
It's enlightening to think of the breeze
To believe in things that we can not see.
So here we go. Let's show them how to live.
Accept the pain, and always forgive.
Watch the sun go down,
And embrace the love that warms your soul
Learn the sound of following all that's complete.
And youll find your peace
Remember the roads you have walked
And youll find your hope
For when your world is crashing down
Breathe in happiness we once shared
And relive the memories in your eyes
For our friendship will go onand on forever

It is a very kind poem I would say, I liked these two phrases the most,

"For when your world is crashing down
Breathe in happiness we once shared "

After all, I wonder if this writing religious? or did it come out from a religous point of view of the writer? I hope not...

this is absolutely lovely, my dear :)

"You can find compassion here"
for some reason that line just made me want to cry... with relief... or something sweet.

"It's enlightening to think of the breeze
To believe in things that we can not see."

lovely. and you have some really great internal and/or slant rhymes that go on here that really work out awesome within the poem. it keeps the flow so nice.... so welcoming.

this is really quite a beautiful piece.

hugs
