I MISS YOU SO MUCH

I MISS YOU SO MUCH

A Poem by Miguel
"

It sucks to feel this way.

"

I don’t want to have to miss you

I don’t want to have to cry

I don’t want to have to kiss you

If it’s a kiss to say goodbye

I don’t want to sit here lonely

Pressing letters to my lips

I don’t want to sit here only

To replay our every kiss

I don’t want to stare at pictures

Staring blankly from my screen

I don’t want to feel nostalgic

For better places I have been

I don’t want to have to lie here

Wishing you were by my side

I don’t want to keep on feeling

Like I’m tearing up inside

I don’t want to keep on dreaming

Dreams of you that make me hurt

I don’t want to have to long for

The scent of you upon my shirt

I don’t want to have to feel that

All I can think about is you

I don’t want to have to live this way

But unfortunately, I do.

Thank you! It's reassuring to know that other people feel the same way :)
This is very good and it flows very well. It does suck to feel this way; I have felt it before too. Well done on this :)
