Forgiving JealousyA Poem by Michael CorkillSpiritual principles to help in forgiving others. Originally entitled, "Overcoming Jealousy". A Poem written to a friend in need. They hate you for loving them but they receive from you all the gifts you can give.
They smile at your beauty while scorning in their heart, amazed at your caring while tearing you apart.
How do you keep them in your heart with no pain while they curse you in secret with motives for gain
Your hands offer helping Your heart only love Ever shining so brightly your gifts from above
You lead by example to show all the way to a better life in living Your lying they say
Their slander does wound you but take heart my dear wife that's how God felt as he gave up His life.
