Alpha Victor Alpha.

Alpha Victor Alpha.

A Poem by Ben McKeon
"

Those who know, know.

"

You know your draw, you always have.

Your vice is your virtue, your thralls are your thrill.

You add insult to injury, leaving scars to shoulder.

A leech, beaming like a Cheshire you sap information

(Only for your benefit, mind, giving little by way of exchange),

Your boundless "energy" critical.

Your currency is plastic, your debts are to karma and the bank.

You delve deep into pockets, rather than conversation.

For what you lack in gall, you make up for in Gaul.

Your time seems precious; you're in a hurry to waste it.

Even though your desire is to do so, you are anything but direct.

The power of kindness never tempered the kindness of Power.
