Nonsense

I saw a contest asking for a poem about nonsense and when I read the submissions, some of them actually made sense! . . . in a nonsensical way, but still!! Here's some REAL nonsense for you.

Habada higglebum hiffle von wan,

Mallahoo smiggle bee shipahoo ban,

Jojo magumbo beeper padoo,

Tiffle bologna flappy magoo.

 

Sissera flagna hoff von hal tee?

Diddledoo hippyay chee mackabee?

Libble cabungo shibby bad fans,

Yorglesnock tippletoes mag habbalans!

Look. It didn't kinda make any sense.. Reminded me of the ommpa loompas in Charlie and the chocolate factories or that children's nursery rhyme with words out of the dictionary. But hey! I liked it!. hahaha.

now do you really want me to read it more than once when it actually didn't made any sense to ME?????????........i don;t know why but at some point i thought of pronouncing them in my native language......because it sounds kinda similar to them............but i should really appreciate your work for thinking out of the box and becoming so nonsensical after ruminating.hard to find such writers.and you know what??????..........those things which are really hard to find are called as "precious"....i've shelved it in my library for the future.may be when i'll grow up.it might make a bit sense for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It actually made me grin with the sheer rubbishediddery of it all. Oh, you nonsensical fellow you. I paint in my head a dolled-up gentleman plushie, who clears his throat before belting this spiel of colourful gibberish out at me before beaming expectantly at me and stroking his French moustache.

Haha I don't know if you're into Monty Python or not but this reminds me of one of their skits, "The Dirty Hungarian Phrase Book"...I think that's what it was called...in any event, it's a fun and very original piece :)
