PreviewA Poem by The ScholarPoetry preview to a story of mine--"For it has been said that only once it is dark can you see the stars."“Every night we come and dance, and at your face I often glance, but never once I’ve spoke your name: ‘Xavior, Outlaw, King of Shame!’ You ran and wished not to be King, yet in your mind ‘twas better thing. While others look on you and frown, I see that you gave up your crown and people for the greater good. I see that you did what you should. And though you hide, you do regret, yet Elyon has some plan yet, and even if you think you can, you can’t outrun the Master’s plan, for the glistening stars are his eyes, and now’s the time for out goodbyes. Xavior, Xavior, Man of Bliss, I leave you now with Heaven’s kiss. Wherever now your paths may lead, know now that I will always heed your voice and come at very call, no matter the need great or small; For you have caught an Angel’s heart, with spider’s web and mortal art, As easy catch a thousand stars, with fishing poles and porcelain jars.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Mearl © 2012 The ScholarAuthor's Note
