Colors of the Dragons

Colors of the Dragons

A Poem by The Scholar
"

This was an interesting write. I remember writing it one winter while we had the fireplace going. Guess it made me think of Dragons . . .

"

Gold, majestic as the sun,

Black, as dark as deepest night,

Silver, as a polished ring,

Red, as fire’s brightest light.

Bronze, to show the day’s begun,

Grey, as shadows from afar,

Green, as leaves do with’r and fade,

Blue, as sky behind the stars.

Amber, as a falltime eve,

White, as white as winter’s snow,

Brown, as dust beneath the feet,

Eleven fires to face their foe.
